If only she came with an operating instruction manual - complete with a troubleshooting section that solves every problem that comes your way!
Unfortunately there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to raising toddlers, but the good news is that they are not really interested in you being the "perfect parent".
All they really want is for you to provide the love, attention and protection that they need - it's perfectly okay for you (both) to make mistakes!
I reside in beautiful, sunny, Sydney, Australia. Lucky me!
First of all, allow me to point out that I do not have any formal qualifications in dealing with children.
I am neither an early childhood nurse nor a health professional - I am an ordinary mother (formally trained in accountancy, in case you're curious) with personal experiences and insights about toddlerhood that I'd like to share with other parents.
I will share with you my extensive research and first-hand knowledge and experience with my own children - hopefully you might learn something from my mistakes!
I have also obtained useful advice from various outside sources such as my children's early childhood nurse, our family doctor and other health professionals.
I am delighted to share all this information with you, for free!
One minute you're smiling from ear to ear as your little darling wraps her chubby little fingers around your neck, the next minute you're ripping your hair out trying to figure out what exactly could be the reason for her tantrums...
Don't panic! If you're looking for ideas and tips on anything about toddlers, then look no further. This website is filled with lots of tips and solutions to everyday problems you may encounter as you raise your little munchkin.
This website is not intended to be an "instruction manual", nor am I implying that my methods are the best and that you should follow them.
This site was created with the aim of giving you more ideas should you need them.
Toddler Troubleshooting Tips is based on countless hours spent with my own children and those of my friends.
The site covers many of the essential things you need to know about those adorable little creatures we call toddlers - including teaching manners, potty training, birthday party ideas, and much more.
So, toddler-troubleshooting-tips.com is the perfect place for you to get a few helpful ideas on how to handle those "tricky" situations.

My own experiences with my two gorgeous girls are the inspiration for building this website, which is the reason why I use "she" when referring to your toddler. This is just for simplicity of reading, so please don't be offended if you happen to have a gorgeous little boy!
It was only a couple of years ago that both of my daughters experienced toddlerhood simultaneously. Two toddlers running around the house - "Eeek!" I hear you say.
Lucky for me, I have gained back HALF of my sanity as my firstborn is now past that stage and goes off to "big school" next year.
My youngest is still a toddler, so with her, we're still at that stage where we both get extremely frustrated trying to understand one another - you know what I'm talking about!
That said, my girls are my pride and joy and I dedicate this website to them.
Simply do the best you can and enjoy the amazing world of your toddler. Before you know it, she'll be off to 'big school' and you'll wish she was wreaking havoc back at home!
All the best to you and your little one.
Your friend in toddler-parenting,
Bernadette
